I took this shot at the lake the other day. The men's excitement at catching the fish I thought would make an interesting shot.

These antique Windmills were done in old photo style and sepia. Would you believe we have a museum of them around here.


And this pic, well I have my pretty geese all in a row.

Birds

We went out to the lake yesterday to get some shots. The lake was mostly iced over giving it a very blue appearance and the geese seem to be walking on water. I didn't use any filters on this as the I wanted the blue to show exactly like it was.

Feeling in a weird and tired mood I got out the mushrooms to get them ready for supper and was struck by the oddly familiar bottom shaped fungus. I know I was tired but it made me giggle.

Macro Monday from Lisa's Chaos.

This small Murano glass latticino and ribbon vase has the ribbons between the glass and twisted into this beautiful design. So pretty and looks great as a macro.

There is something about the starkness and loneliness of the lone tree that just calls out to have its photo taken.
