I will start here as your page is still loading on my slow dial up. On May 8 a storm hit S. IL. I did not have electricity for 9 days. One elderly man was killed in Murphysboro west of Carbondale. I live just east of Carbondale. I could not call my mother on Mother's Day. No phone service for about 5 days. Winds of 106 mph. Trees are down in my yard. Trees are down, some huge 75 years old - crushing houses, trailers, and property. I have enjoyed seeing all your photos, especially the woodpecker. mark/salty
