Monochrome Monday.
Doing my dog Zoey in black and white really brings out the highlights on her hair and the battle scars out on her nose. I used the infrared setting in Picnik after I made the photo black and white setting. That gave it more detail and a crisp look and took away some of the detail from the back. It did do something weird to her old lady blue eyes but all in all, I like it.

What a lovely dog... she does look wise in the ways of the world. Thanks for dropping by!!!
Picture perfect, a really great photo of lovely dog in monochrome:)
Thanks for the visit & have a nice day.
Pretty dog, I've never tried that picnik software. After seeing this result, I'm going to give it a try.
Great portrait of a great looking friend.
She looks great in b&w, it seems dark dogs are so hard to photograph!
What a beautiful monochrome shot! I Love it!!
Zoey is beautiful indeed ... marvelous in monochrome! I shared my Lab Molly in Monochrome a while back at Happily Retired Gal but this week's monochrome post is at Small Reflections ;--)
Hugs and blessings.
That's a great photo. The monochrome is really effective.
