Day 2, NaBloPoMo
Walking the dog in the front yard I ran across this toadstool. The free that feeds it was cut down around 8 years but every year we get these. Love the little curly edges.
And this is my day 2 photo. You don't have to just do photos, a blog entry a day, your choice of subject, check out the other entries and join it. click here

That is amazing. Very pretty. Helen
Man, that's the fanciest mushroom, ever! Great capture, Julie.
Your photograph captures nature at its' most amazing..
I personally find it very hard to see the picture against the background that you have chosen for your journal, as I see it, it only detracts from the true nature of your thoughts that you are more than capable of posting without any outside help.
I have problems with the borders that people decorate their journals with. I have difficulty in determining the relevence of such additions owing to brain damage that I have to live with.
You may remove this comment although I only want to offer support for your wonderful efforts to show the beauty around you.
That toadstool looks like it is wearing many petticoats! Fancy!
Great capture!
hi; just checking out all the NaBloPoMo's blogs Martha has listed on her blog; very nice picture of the mushroom!!
betty
Liz, I have to agree. I just wanted a simple pure black background to show my shots better but I can't find one. I wanted this format so the photos will be sized right. This was the closest to a black background I could find.
That IS amazing! I have never seen one like that before!
That's so pretty! Nature is wnderful when viewed close up! Jeannette xx
