Geese

  On our way to Omaha I stopped at Blue Lake and shot some geese.  The way I shoot doesn't hurt them.

    I played with the picture.

You have about as many geese out that way as we do here.  I guess it helps that we are a bird sanctuary, and the geese get special rental rates here.  At least it seems there has to be something that draws them all here.

We used to have flocks of Canadian geese on the pond near our house in Broomfield, CO.  I may have it in my photo journal, not sure.  You did a great job photographing these geese.

Geese are always a wonderful bird to see.     There were not many geese flocks flying here in S. Illinois this last winter since the weather was too warm for them to fly down from up north.    mark
