I agree with you about old wood. I love the texture and tone of it. It is almost the equivalent of "if this wall could talk", since you can see so many scars from the years. Wood is very telling, it is just a matter of figuring out what it is saying. I love the pictures!

These pictures make me think of "little house on the prairy", lol I imagine that the wood is as old as the clothes that are depicted in those episodes. What a simple life it must have been. I'm jealous of that I think! lol
