Jland Photo Shoot

  Photographer's Choice

This week photograph whatever you'd like.  If you don't have time to get out your camera, then pull something up from your files.  That's okay too.

This is from my files.  I just like the peaceful feeling to this shot.  This is midway on one of our favorite bike trails.  We always stop and look at the river.  Sometimes we have lunch but it is always peaceful.  This was late in the afternoon.

Great shot. It looks peaceful to me. Great spot to have a bite to eat. Helen

I really like this Julie!  I love the way you chose to frame things in this shot with the sun peaking in from the top...Just enough to give you a little bit of lens flare that actually works well in the shot.  The bright sun caused the main interest to become silhouetted, giving it a more anonymous look...allowing the viewer to put themselves in the picture.  The long look out over the water give a sense of introspection...Great picture!
