Monochrome Weekly
As you can see this is still in the waterfall series I did. This church in Sioux Falls looked interesting framed between the trees. I did some editing on the shot by adding some grain and burning the sky which was completely washed out. I think the grain added some detail which was lost since the church was pretty far away when I took the shot. For more black and white shots visit Aileni at Monochrome weekly by clicking here.

Nice shot! To see the picture full like that it almost looks like that church is rising over the trees.
That's a beautiful Church and the shot is wonderful.
Great idea to burn the sky like that, and a very good shot. I often use the burn and dodge tool too.
An imposing building, like some of our English cathedrals.
Wow. That's a beauty. Great shot.
The church is beautiful. I like the different textures in the vegetation, as well.

Very interesting shot! Like two in one :) built up from water down under to the church above all :)
A very scenic image, beautiful and well captured....
This answers a question I asked today that churches and cathedrals always look so Gothic in monochrome. Very striking image.
