Monochrome Maniacs

Go to Aileni's Monochrome Maniacs for more B & W shots. It will be worth the look.

The cold frozen lake with the shadows falling over the ice made for an interesting black and white. I think the chill comes through even in the shot.

There is a feeling of calm looking onto this scene. Really graceful monochrome.

For some reason this reminds me of childhood. It is a fine picture.

Nifty photo, Julie. Wonder what we would find around the corner to the right - maybe a bunch of skaters on the ice or even a solitary fisherman? Of course, it might just be more of the same, which is okay too.
