Is it the shadow of a crossing sign that lies over the rails? It results in a very interesting photograph showing two ways to travel. I am tempted to follow the shadow and go off... :)

Oh good shot! My BIL is a Conductor for CSX...I've been kicking around the idea of getting him to take my camera for a ride with him.
